Hi, I installed clean install of Vista 32bit asus k52f pci simple communications controller SP1. Windows 7 Forums is an independent web site and has not been authorized, sponsored, or otherwise approved by Microsoft Corporation.
Method 1: to find the driver for a device in Windows Vista through Device Manager
a.Once you’re in Device Manager, right click on the PCI (Peripheral Component Interface) simple communications controller and choose Properties.
b.Switch to the Details tab and select Hardware IDs from the drop down menu.
c.You will see a code like per example PCI/VEN_8086&DEV_27D8&SUBSYS
The VEN code means vendor and the DEV code means device
d.Once you have the two codes, go to Microsoft update catalog website and put in the Device ID/Vendor ID to search for the drivers.
e.Follow the instructions to download the driver and install it.

Method 2: Re-install Intel Chipset drivers from the Motherboard driver CD provided by Intel
If your computer came with a motherboard driver disc from Intel, put the CD in and install the chipset drivers. That should take care of it. If you’ve already searched for the driver in the Intel website and you don’t have drivers listed for Windows Vista, then you can install the Windows XP driver for PCI Communication Controller usingWindows 7 Compatibility mode.
I finally found the solution after 2 days:

Here it is and hope it helps someone else.
I had the same problem, and was able to resolve it. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium x86 ( 32 bit ), but this should work for 64 bit as well.
Download both Intel Drivers from Dell (R194010 and R194011).
Go into the folder where they were downloaded.
Right click the first file (R194010.EXE), choose properties.
Go to the Compatibility Tab and click 'Run this program in compatability mode for:' and choose Windows Vista SP 2
Do the same for the second file (R194011.EXE) to set it in compatability mode also.
Run the first one and follow all the on screen steps.
Run the second one and follow all the on screen steps.
Then you will get the 'To Enable/Disable contact your authorized system admiinistrator' message. Now I believe that you can go into the BIOS when you turn on your pc and enable the Intel AMT, but since that is more of a business feature and you have Home Premium you almost certainly do not need AMT. So to disable the message do the following:
Click the Start Button Orb.
In the Search box type 'msconfig' without quotes and press enter.
When the System Configuration comes up go to the Startup tab.
Uncheck the box for 'atchk Intel Corporation' and click OK.
Restart your computer when prompted.
